Facing the Pyrenees, Henri Ramonteu crafts dry and sweet white wines on a 43-hectare estate primarily south-east facing. The soils are composed of a blend of clay, silica, and pebbles. Without being certified, he advocates a viticulture close to organic farming. He produces wines that express themselves from an early age as well as others more suited to ageing. The dry whites are made with gros manseng for its ability to deliver a beautiful freshness. The petit manseng, meanwhile, is harvested through successive tries in order to capture only the finest of the passerillage from the South-West through the cuvées Noblesse du temps and Quintessence. In years where the climate allows, a cuvée Folie de Janvier is produced.
