Wines from the Anne Françoise Gros estate: buy at the best price

 Following the marriage of François Parent and Anne Françoise Gros, the estate of Anne Françoise, named AF Gros, was expanded by her husband's estate in 1998, bringing it to a total of 10 hectares of vines in Pommard. The cellars, winery and building are located in Beaune. The winemaking process is the same for all appellations: only the barrel ageing and the proportion of new barrels varies depending on the cuvées, with 100% new barrel ageing for the grand crus of the Anne Françoise Gros estate. The village and 1er cru wines, for their part, will receive 40 to 60% new barrels, depending on the vintage. Beyond the grand crus Echézeaux and Richebourg, the Anne Françoise Gros estate possesses famous premier crus such as the Pommard 1ers crus Les Arvelets and Pézerolles, as well as the Savigny Clos des Guettes and Beaune Les Boucherottes. Certain village wines are also worth noting, such as the Vosne Romanée Aux Réas, situated in the continuation of the eponymous Clos Aux Réas.
