Wines from Domaine Loew: buy at the best price
Domaine Loew is a benchmark for biodynamic viticulture in Alsace, established in Westhoffen, in the Bas-Rhin, since the 18th century. Taken over in 1996 by Étienne Loew, now supported by his wife Caroline, it covers approximately 6.5 hectares spread across five villages, on a rare geological diversity ranging from sandstone to oolitic limestone, from Muschelkalk to Keuper marls. Certified Demeter and Biodyvin, the estate practices plot-by-plot winemaking that gives rise to numerous micro-cuvées, from the rehabilitated Sylvaner to the Grands Crus Altenberg de Bergbieten and Engelberg. Spontaneous fermentations, long ageing and great purity: each cuvée expresses the typicity of its terroir with elegance.
