Domaine de Belluard Ayse Brut

An old gold robe with a very ripe nose of candied citrus, stewed apples, and dried fruits. This wine has a beautiful concentration with a sustained acidity. The finish is very slightly bitter. A truly beautiful sparkling wine!

Domaine du Pélican Chardonnay 2014

The robe is pale yellow. The nose, sulfurous (matchstick, smoky, toasted), delivers aromas of citrus and white fruits. The palate shows great acidity and fine uprightness on white fruits, citrus, and peach skin. Long and balanced, this wine nonetheless merits a great deal of time to deliver its full complexity and to dispel the bottling character still very much perceptible.

Domaine Tissot La Mailloche (Arbois) 2010

The robe is evolved and golden. A very complex nose of greengage plum, mirabelle, apricot, stewed apple, and dried fruits, yet also releasing floral notes and cream. The palate, of great volume with a well-present acidity, offers a long finish on almond.

Ganevat Chamois du Paradis 2011

A pale yellow robe. A complex but moderately intense nose of candied citrus, white fruits, flowers, cream, and butter, with a light toasted note. A wine gifted with a very fine acidity/alcohol balance, possessing the concentration and length that still merit patience to be fully appreciated.

Buronfosse Savagnin Ouillé « Entre Deux » 2012.

The robe is a more sustained pale yellow than the previous bottle. The nose is toasted, floral, even vegetal, with notes of dried fruits. On the palate, the wine is upright with a very sustained acidity, though much less integrated than in the previous wines.

Domaine Finot « Etraire de la Dhuy » (this is the name of the red grape variety) 2015

The robe is violet-tinged and the nose expressive: one finds small red fruits (raspberry, wild strawberry, cherry), but also vegetal notes, pepper, and violet. The palate is simple, the body light, with average complexity and a sustained acidity.

Domaine des Côtes Rousses Coteau de la Mort Mondeuse 2015

Robe of an intense violet, very concentrated. The nose is slightly animal but also delivers notes of pepper, blackberry, chocolate, and crushed strawberry. On the palate, while the whole is well balanced, the tannins are very firm and the finish quite drying. This wine deserves to be drunk with food or to benefit from long ageing.

Bernard Arbois Pupillin Trousseau Le Ginglet 2015

The robe is cloudy, of low intensity with brick reflections. The nose is still fermentary but also delivers delicate floral notes and blood orange. The palate is very light, of low complexity, with very light tannins. Aeration does it a great deal of good.

Camille Loye Arbois 1988

The robe is intense and evolved. The nose is oxidized (despite irreproachable storage in chalk cellars), with notes of port and very cooked fruits. On the palate, the acidity is sustained, the body balanced, but the maderization aromas also dominate.

Dupasquier Altesse 2011

The robe is a fairly marked gold. On the nose, one perceives aromas of liquorice, quince, pear, flowers, and pepper. The palate reveals a hint of sugar over a very beautiful volume, supported by an effective acidity and a good length. A very beautiful wine in the making.
