Tasting notes for Château Calon Ségur 2003 Magnum
To the eye – Deep ruby robe with dense, silky and luminous reflections.
On the nose – Generous aromas of crushed blackberry and blackcurrant, lifted by notes of cedar, liquorice and a mineral touch reminiscent of the terroir's gravels.
On the palate – A frank and velvety attack, carried by enveloping tannins, a lively acidity and a long finish, where juicy fruits and saline freshness intertwine.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Bordeaux glass to fully release its aromas.

A sun-drenched vintage, marked by exceptional heat, yielding a wine of early maturity yet endowed with a beautiful structure.
- Ageing potential: To be enjoyed until approximately 2035, under optimal storage conditions (stable temperature, controlled humidity).
