The Château Calon-Ségur 1997, from the gravelly hillsides of Saint-Estèphe, reveals notes of cedar, undergrowth and tobacco. On the palate, its taut and mineral texture seduces with its balance and persistence. Perfect for cellaring until 2030, it pairs beautifully with red meats and aged cheeses.
A historic estate of the Médoc, rooted in the Saint-Estèphe appellation, where viticultural heritage has been passed down for centuries with great rigour.
- Terroir: Gravelly and clay-limestone soils of Saint-Estèphe, conferring on the wines a mineral structure and a taut elegance.
- Vinification: A blend dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon, aged with patience to reveal the purity of the fruit and the complexity of the tannins.
