The Château Margaux 1993, Premier Grand Cru Classé of Margaux, is born on gravelly soils. Dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon (72%), it reveals after 21 months in barrels aromas of red fruits, cedar and tobacco. Its silky texture and minerality make it a wine of elegance, to enjoy with game or cheeses through 2042.

Tasting notes for Château Margaux 1993
To the eye – A ruby robe with garnet reflections, of velvety density, betraying a harmonious evolution and generous substance.
On the nose – First, notes of candied blackcurrant and wild blackberry, followed by hints of blond tobacco, toasted cedar and graphite, before a saline touch and a hint of faded violet.
On the palate – A silky and supple texture, carried by a lively acidity and a chalky minerality, with tannins still present but polished by time, leading to a long and persistent finish.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Bordeaux glass to unlock its full complexity.
