Blended with 74% Cabernet Sauvignon and aged in oak barrels, it reveals aromas of dark fruits, truffle and cedar. Its palate, lively and silky, captivates with its minerality. Tasting notes for the wine Château Margaux 1993
To the eye – A garnet red robe with tawny highlights, of a velvety density, betraying a harmonious maturity and a smooth texture.
On the nose – Aromas of candied blackcurrant intertwine with notes of cedar, blonde tobacco and black truffle, lifted by a saline touch and a hint of graphite, the signature of Margaux's finest terroirs.
On the palate – The palate unfolds with a taut elegance, where silky tannins embrace a lively acidity and a chalky minerality, leading to a long and persistent finish marked by gentle spices and a menthol freshness.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Bordeaux glass to release its full complexity.
