The Château Margaux 2018 Magnum, Premier Grand Cru Classé from Margaux, is born on gravelly soils. This wine, predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon, offers notes of blackcurrant and spices after 22 months in oak barrels. - On the nose : An enchanting bouquet where aromas of wild blackberry, ripe blackcurrant, delicate violet and cedar intermingle, lifted by a mineral touch of graphite and a subtle spiced note of liquorice.
- On the palate : A velvety attack, carried by tannins of satin texture, a lively and precise acidity, and a chalky minerality that stretches into a long, saline finish, where nuances of dark fruits and gentle spices linger.
Serve between 16°C and 18°C in a Bordeaux glass to release its full complexity.
