The Vosne-Romanée Les Barreaux 2020, signed by Domaine Anne Gros, is born on high-altitude limestone soils. This Pinot Noir, from vines planted in 1903, combines red fruits, spices and minerality. Its silky and lively palate promises aging potential of 8-10 years. Perfect with game or cheeses.

To the eye – A deep ruby robe, of a silky density, where light dances with a velvety intensity, heralding a substance that is at once generous and refined.
On the nose – First an explosion of ripe red fruits, black cherry and wild raspberry, then nuances of violet and liquorice, before a saline touch comes to underscore the chalky minerality of the terroir.
On the palate – A smooth yet taut texture, carried by a lively acidity and a fine tannic framework, where fresh fruits, gentle spices and a long finish mingle, marked by a persistent salinity.
Serve at 14-16°C in a Burgundy glass to fully release its aromas.

A sunny yet balanced vintage, where the summer heat concentrated the fruits without altering the mineral freshness so characteristic of the great wines of Vosne-Romanée.
- Aging potential : To be enjoyed now for its vibrant fruit, or cellared for 8 to 12 years in a cool (12-14°C) and humid cellar to allow its complexity to fully blossom.
