The Esprit de Leflaive Pommard 1er Cru Les Arvelets 2018 expresses a clay-limestone terroir from Pommard. This Pinot Noir, aged in barrels then in stainless steel, reveals notes of red fruits and spices. Its palate, silky and mineral, pairs beautifully with meats and cheeses. Keep until 2035.
Heir to a Burgundian expertise dating back to 1717, Domaine Leflaive embodies the exacting standards and finesse of the great wines of Burgundy, combining family tradition with viticultural precision.
- Terroir: The vines are rooted in the clay-limestone soils of Pommard, where iron oxide gives the wines a mineral structure and a characteristic depth.
- Vinification: Meticulous ageing in oak barrels, then in stainless steel tanks, to preserve the purity of the Pinot Noir and reveal the elegance of the terroir.
