Tasting notes for the wine Château La Fleur-Pétrus La Fleur Pétrus 2007
To the eye: A garnet red robe with deep reflections, a silky texture and chalky density that heralds generous substance.
On the nose: Aromas of cranberry and fresh pomegranate intertwine with deeper notes of aged leather, melted tar, and a saline hint, evoking the damp undergrowth of Pomerol.
On the palate: A lively and precise attack, carried by a taut acidity and a mineral structure, before opening into a long and velvety finish where dark fruits and black truffle intertwine.
To be served between 16 and 18°C, in a Bordeaux glass to fully release its aromatic complexity.
