The Château Lafaurie-Peyraguey 2001, a fine wine from Sauternes, reveals the chalky soils of Haut-Bommes. A blend of Sémillon, Sauvignon Blanc and Muscadelle, aged in barrels. Notes of candied apricot and honey, smooth texture and a lively finish. To be savored with foie gras or Roquefort.
A historic estate, rooted on the Haut-Bommes plateau, where the tradition of great Sauternes has been perpetuated for centuries.
- Terroir : Gravelly and clay-limestone soils of Sauternes, bathed in the mists of the Ciron and Garonne rivers, ideal for noble rot.
- Vinification : Manual harvesting by successive tries, aged in French oak barrels for an expression that is both rich and precise.
