Méo-Camuzet Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Aux Brûlées 2022, from the Aux Brûlées climat in the Côte de Nuits. This barrel-aged Pinot Noir offers notes of red fruits, spices and a floral touch. Its silky texture and minerality make it a wine for ageing, ideal with red meats or cheeses.
Domaine Méo-Camuzet

- Terroir: Clay-limestone soils of the Côte de Nuits, the cradle of Burgundy's most prestigious Grands Crus and Premiers Crus, where Pinot Noir reveals its full complexity.
- Winemaking: Aged in oak barrels, respecting natural cycles and seeking a pure and elegant expression of the grape variety, without artifice.

Tasting notes for Domaine Méo-Camuzet Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Aux Brûlées 2022
To the eye: A deep ruby robe with garnet highlights, of a silky texture and crystalline brilliance that heralds a dense and refined substance.
On the nose: Aromas of black cherry and fresh raspberry intertwine with notes of violet, sweet liquorice and a mineral hint of gunflint, evoking the chalky soils of the lieu-dit.
On the palate: A lively and precise attack, supported by a taut acidity and a velvety tannic structure, while nuances of undergrowth and gentle spices extend a saline and persistent finish.
Serve between 14 and 16°C in a Burgundy glass to release its full complexity.
Vintage 2022
A vintage marked by optimal grape maturity, yielding wines of rare concentration while preserving a vibrant freshness and characteristic elegance.
- Aging potential: To be kept for 10 to 30 years in a cool cellar (12–14°C), away from light, to allow the wine to reach its full expression.
