The Méo-Camuzet Clos Vougeot « Le Passage » 2023, from calcareous soils, is a Pinot Noir aged in oak barrels. Aromas of red fruits, spices and truffle, with a silky and mineral palate. Perfect for cellaring until 2040, it pairs beautifully with meats and game.
Méo-Camuzet
A family estate rooted in the heart of Burgundy, where the winemaking heritage is passed down with exacting standards and respect for the terroir.
- Terroir: the calcareous and gravelly soils of Vosne-Romanée and the Clos de Vougeot, shaping wines of rare minerality and elegance.
- Vinification: a low-interventionist approach, where indigenous yeasts and aging in new oak barrels reveal the purity of Pinot Noir.

Tasting notes for Méo-Camuzet Clos Vougeot Le Passage 2023
To the eye – a deep garnet robe with dense reflections, of an almost silky texture in the light.
On the nose – aromas of black cherry and fresh raspberry intertwine with deeper notes of truffle, gentle spices and a saline touch, echoing the chalky soils.
On the palate – a velvety attack, carried by a lively acidity and a delicate tannic structure, stretching into a mineral and persistent finish where the tension of the terroir is perceptible.
To be served between 16 and 18°C, in a Burgundy glass to release its full complexity.
Vintage 2023
A vintage marked by balanced maturity, where freshness and concentration respond to each other in perfect harmony.
- Aging potential: to be enjoyed now for its generous fruit, or cellared until 2040 under optimal conditions (cool and humid cellar).
