François Servin runs the family estate with a master's hand. He heads a 35-hectare estate in the Chablis region planted exclusively with Chardonnay for an exclusive production of white Burgundy wines. Domaine Servin practises sustainable farming with soil maintenance through ploughing and organic fertilisers. Traditional winemaking is an important component of the success of Domaine Servin's wines. The finest crus are vinified in oak barrels. François Servin has become one of the largest grower-producers in Chablis, with a vineyard on the most renowned hillsides of Burgundy, producing the appellations Chablis, Chablis 1er Cru Montée de Tonnerre, Vaillons, Butteaux and Forêts, and owns four of the seven Chablis Grand Cru with Les Preuses, Les Bougros, Blanchots and Les Clos.
