With remarkable consistency, the wines of La Chablisienne offer white Burgundies whose personality wonderfully reflects the terroir of the Kimmeridgian soils of the region. The Grands Crus and Premiers Crus deliver a mosaic of aromatic profiles representative of the individual plots from which the grapes are sourced. For example, the Chablis Grand Cru Grenouilles 2013 (rated 17/20 by the RVF) promises a great fine wine for ageing that already delivers beautiful intensity and depth of sap, underlined by a lovely touch of oak on the finish. While the Grands Crus from La Chablisienne require 7 to 12 years of cellaring, the Premiers Crus call for 5 to 10 years of ageing, with highly successful cuvées such as the Chablis Premier Cru Montée de Tonnerre and the Côte de Léchet 2015. Finally, the Chablis Villages wines deliver slightly more classic, consistent and accomplished wines that guarantee a delightful tasting experience. The Petit Chablis Pas Si Petit offers a floral bouquet with ripe fruit on the nose, followed by minerality and freshness on the palate, paired with a remarkable length. Still among the Chablis Villages, the Chablis "La Sereine" stands out for its nose of fresh white fruit, offering a beautiful structure on the palate with lovely fruit, freshness and great finesse.
