Led by Patrice Ollivier, the Fougeray de Beauclair estate covers 18 hectares in the Côte de Nuits. It produces 2/3 red Burgundy wines, with the remainder split between white Burgundies and rosés. The Fougeray de Beauclair estate has its roots in the vineyards of Fixin and Marsannay, appellations in which it produces around a dozen highly diverse wines. One of them is an original cuvée made exclusively from pinot beurot (pinot gris). The Fougeray de Beauclair estate is best known for its grand cru Bonnes Mares, located entirely within the village of Morey Saint Denis, and offered at a relatively reasonable price for this prestigious appellation.
