Run by Patrice Ollivier, Domaine Fougeray de Beauclair covers 18 hectares in the Côte de Nuits. Two-thirds of its production is red Burgundy wine, with the rest divided between white Burgundy wine and rosé. The Fougeray de Beauclair house has its roots in the vineyards of Fixin and Marsannay, appellations in which it produces around a dozen diverse wines. One is an unusual cuvée made solely from Pinot Beurot (Pinot Gris). Domaine Fougeray de Beauclair is best known for its Bonnes Mares Grand Cru, located entirely within Morey Saint Denis and relatively modestly priced for this prestigious appellation.
