Château Brane-Cantenac
A historic estate rooted at the heart of the Margaux appellation, where the winemaking heritage has been passed down since the 19th century.
- Terroir: Gravelly and clay-limestone soils of Margaux, bestowing upon the wines a mineral elegance and a uniquely refined aromatic character.
- Vinification: Meticulous blending, aged in oak barrels for a silky structure and a pure expression of the terroir.
Tasting notes for Château Brane-Cantenac 1975
In the glass: Garnet robe with brick-red hues, of a velvety texture and a chalky density.
On the nose: Aromas of cedar, blond tobacco, candied blackberry and undergrowth, lifted by a saline touch and a hint of liquorice.
On the palate: A silky attack, lively acidity and melted tannins, carried by a persistent minerality and a long finish marked by notes of leather and soft spices.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Bordeaux glass to release its full complexity.
