Tasting notes for Château Brane-Cantenac Brane Cantenac 2007
To the eye – A deep garnet red robe, of a silky density, where light dances with a chalky subtlety.
On the nose – Aromas of fresh blackcurrant and juicy blackberry intertwine with notes of cedar and blonde tobacco, before giving way to a saline and earthy touch, the signature of the Margaux terroir.
On the palate – A velvety texture, carried by a lively acidity and a discreet minerality, stretching into a long and taut finish where soft spices and candied dark fruits intertwine.
Serve at 16-18°C in a Bordeaux glass to release its full complexity.
Vintage 2007
A vintage marked by early ripeness and harmonious balance, where the mild climate allowed the grapes to express a fruity elegance and an accessible structure.
