This Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Noirots 2022 from Domaine Bruno Clavelier, made from old vines, offers aromas of red fruits, violet and spices. On the palate, it is silky and mineral, with melted tannins. Best enjoyed with coq au vin or Brie, it will keep for 10 years.
Domaine Bruno Clavelier
Nestled in the heart of Vosne-Romanée, this family estate embodies the demands of natural viticulture, where each plot reveals the soul of Burgundy.
- Terroir: Clay-limestone and stony soils, shaped by the slopes of the Côte de Nuits, yielding wines of rare mineral precision.
- Winemaking: An artisanal approach, balancing respect for the fruit with subtle ageing, producing cuvées of taut elegance.
Tasting notes for Domaine Bruno Clavelier Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Noirots 2022
To the eye – A clear ruby robe of crystalline luminosity, in which silky highlights dance.
On the nose – An airy bouquet of morello cherry and fresh raspberry, lifted by notes of violet and faded rose, before opening onto nuances of undergrowth and a discreet saline touch.
On the palate – A velvety texture, carried by a lively acidity and chalky minerality, stretching into a long, fresh finish where gentle spices and melted tannins intertwine.
Serve at 14–16°C in a Burgundy glass to reveal its full complexity.
Vintage 2022
A vintage marked by early ripeness and a perfect balance between concentration and freshness, ideal for revealing the finesse of this exceptional terroir.
- Ageing potential: 10 to 15 years, to be stored in a cool cellar (12–14°C) away from light.
