The Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Les Corbeaux 2022 from Domaine Bruno Clavelier combines red fruits, spices and undergrowth. Made from old Pinot Noir vines, it offers a silky palate, lively acidity and chalky minerality. Perfect with red meats or cheeses after 5 to 10 years.
Domaine Bruno Clavelier
A family estate rooted in Vosne-Romanée, where biodynamics reveals the soul of Burgundian terroirs with rare precision.- Terroir : Clay-limestone soils of the Côte de Nuits, where old vines express the minerality and depth of the Premier Crus.
- Winemaking : Natural methods and barrel ageing for wines of taut purity, without artifice.
Tasting notes for Domaine Bruno Clavelier Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Les Corbeaux 2022
To the eye – A luminous ruby robe with violet highlights, of silky density and chalky brilliance.
On the nose – Freshness of morello cherry and wild blackberry, evolving towards notes of blonde tobacco, damp undergrowth and a saline touch, like a mineral breeze.
On the palate – A velvety yet taut texture, carried by a lively acidity and stony minerality that stretches into a long, saline finish of precise elegance.
Serve between 14 and 16°C, in a Burgundy glass to release its complex aromas.
Vintage 2022
A vintage defined by balance, where summer heat ripened the grapes without compromising their freshness or mineral tension.
- Ageing Potential : To be enjoyed now or cellared for 10 to 15 years in a cool, humid cellar.
