From the Jura hillsides, Des Murmures Chardonnay 2018 is a natural white wine with notes of citrus and flint. Unfined and unfiltered, it combines mineral freshness with a saline finish. Ideal with game or shellfish through 2028.
Nestled in Les Arsures in the Jura, this small natural wine estate has followed a rigorous philosophy since 2012: revealing the pure expression of its terroir through minimal intervention.

Tasting notes for Domaine des Murmures Des Murmures Arbois Chardonnay 2018
Appearance: A golden color with green highlights and a silky, luminous look, hinting at a generous yet finely defined palate.
On the nose: Candied lemon and fresh citrus aromas intertwine with notes of toasted hazelnut and toasted brioche, giving way to a saline, chalky touch that is a hallmark of the Jura terroir.
On the palate: A lively, taut opening, driven by precise acidity, unfolds into a creamy, mineral texture and a long, lingering finish that brings together stone fruit and a hint of smoke.
Serve at 12–14°C in a Burgundy-style white wine glass to reveal its full complexity.

A vintage shaped by intense summer heat, tempered by a winter with abundant rainfall, which favored a surprisingly plentiful and expressive Chardonnay harvest.
