The Dominique Dufour Aussigouins Experto R 2024, a Chenin Blanc from the schists of Rablay-sur-Layon, reveals a saline minerality and a vibrant tension. Vinified in barrels, it combines freshness and silky structure, with a chalky finish. To be enjoyed from 2026 onwards with oysters or grilled fish.
A domaine rooted in the schists of Rablay-sur-Layon, where Chenin Blanc draws its legendary minerality.
- Terroir: Schist and spilite soils of the Aussigouins, in Anjou – a geology that gives the wines their chalky tension and natural salinity.
- Vinification: Low-intervention method, indigenous yeasts and barrel aging to preserve the purity of the fruit and the freshness of the vintage.
In the glass – Golden robe with green highlights, of a silky clarity and a brilliance that already announces its tension.
On the nose – Aromas of linden blossom, crisp green apple, followed by notes of flint and a saline touch that evokes sea spray.
On the palate – A lively and precise attack, a taut acidity that carries flavors of candied lemon and damp chalk, leading to a long, mineral finish.
To be served between 8 and 10 °C, in a Burgundy-style white wine glass to reveal its complexity.
A vintage marked by luminous freshness, where the Chenin expresses its full purity and natural tension.
- Aging potential: To be kept until 2031 in a cool cellar (12-14 °C), away from light.
