A family estate rooted in the heart of the Montagne de Reims, where each cuvée tells the story of a terroir and a passion passed down through generations.
- Terroir: The chalk and limestone soils of Écueil, home to some of Champagne’s great Pinot Noir, shape wines of vibrant minerality and rare elegance.
- Winemaking: A respectful, parcel-by-parcel approach favors the pure expression of grape variety and terroir, with Extra Brut cuvées for precise tension.
Tasting notes for Gaspard Brochet Pinot Noir Tome V
Appearance: Pale gold with green highlights, delicate and bright, with silky, persistent effervescence.
On the nose: Fresh white fruit aromas (crisp apple, Williams pear) evolve into notes of candied citrus and hawthorn blossom, lifted by a saline, chalky touch characteristic of Écueil’s terroir.
On the palate: A texture both taut and velvety, driven by lively acidity and chalky minerality, gives way to a long, saline finish of remarkable purity.
Serve at 8–10°C in a Champagne flute or white wine glass to preserve its freshness and effervescence.
Non-vintage
A cuvée blending the best of recent harvests for a faithful expression of the estate’s style, combining freshness and complexity.
- Aging potential: Enjoy within 3 to 5 years of disgorgement; store away from light and temperature fluctuations, at 12–14°C.
