The Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Cras 2010 from Domaine Ghislaine Barthod, sourced from limestone soils, expresses a pure and mineral Pinot Noir. Notes of cherry, cacao and smoke, a silky palate with fine tannins and lively acidity. To be enjoyed until 2030 with game or rich dishes.
A family estate rooted in the hillsides of Chambolle-Musigny, where the Burgundian heritage is passed down with discretion and exacting standards.
- Terroir : The vines are rooted in the clay-limestone soils of the Chambolle-Musigny appellation, where chalk comes to the surface to give the wines their characteristic minerality.
- Vinification : A precise approach, between tradition and modernity, favouring the pure expression of Pinot Noir – elegance, tension and depth.
To the eye: a deep ruby robe with garnet reflections, of a silky and luminous texture.
On the nose: aromas of black cherry and pomegranate open onto notes of raw cacao, blackcurrant leaf and a mineral hint of flint, lifted by a discreet touch of vanilla.
On the palate: a lively and precise attack, carried by ripe and velvety tannins, a taut acidity and a chalky minerality that extends into a saline and persistent finish.
Serve at 14-16°C in a Burgundy glass to reveal its full complexity.
A vintage marked by perfect maturity and preserved freshness, offering wines of great precision and beautiful tension.
- Ageing potential : To be cellared for 10 to 15 years in a cool and humid cellar, away from temperature variations.
