Discover Jean Servagnat Les Meuniers Insoumis 1er Cru Extra Brut, an exceptional cuvée from a family estate in Coulommes-la-Montagne, on the Montagne de Reims. Taken over by Jean Servagnat after an international career, this 2-hectare estate, in conversion to organic farming, honors Pinot Meunier, the region's emblematic grape variety, grown on sandy, chalky soils.
This Extra Brut Champagne is distinguished by its 0 g/l dosage, offering striking freshness and purity. Made from 100% Pinot Meunier grapes, 30% of the wine is vinified in oak barrels and the rest in stainless steel tanks, with spontaneous fermentation and ageing on lees, giving it a unique complexity.
To the eye, its golden color with copper highlights sparkles with fine bubbles. On the nose, aromas of ripe yellow fruits such as mirabelle plum and pear intertwine with floral notes of lilac and a touch of minerality. On the palate, it offers a caressing texture, flavors of quince jelly and croissant, with a taut, saline finish. Ideal as an aperitif or with seafood, this champagne embodies the rebellious elegance of Meunier.
