Zéroine Gaga L18
Immerse yourself in the world of Zéroine Gaga L18, an exceptional natural red wine from Maylis Bernard, passionate winemaker at Domaine Zéroine in Orbagna, Jura. This artisanal estate, adept at free, input-free viticulture, cultivates its vines on a terroir of marl and limestone, giving rise to wines of striking authenticity.
This 2018 vintage, made from the Gamay grape variety, comes from a carefully selected parcel in Gevingey. True to a minimalist approach, vinification is based on semi-carbonic maceration in vats, with no added sulfites or filtration, to preserve all the purity of the fruit and expression of the terroir. The result is a wine of dazzling freshness and remarkable intensity.
Its luminous ruby color catches the eye, while the nose reveals an explosion of ripe red fruit aromas - cherry, crushed strawberry - enhanced by subtle floral notes and a touch of sweet spices. On the palate, its juicy profile, lively acidity and airy finish, marked by a delicate minerality, make it an ideal choice as an aperitif or with roast poultry. A true ode to the spontaneity of natural Jura wines, Gaga L18 will appeal to connoisseurs in search of rare, vibrant cuvées.
