Wines from Domaine Raquillet: buy at the best price!

Domaine Raquillet has been run for nearly 25 years by François Raquillet and his wife Emmanuelle, in Burgundy. Domaine Raquillet covers 10 hectares, planted three-quarters with Pinot Noir for the production of red Burgundy wines, located primarily within the Mercurey appellation. The success of Domaine Raquillet lies in the reduction of yields. The red wines are aged for between 12 and 18 months, compared to around twelve months for the white Burgundy wines. The Mercurey 1er Cru wines from Domaine François et Emmanuelle Raquillet include Les Peuillets, Veleys, Vasées and, most notably, Clos L'Evêque and Les Naugues. These last two are considered the finest in the Mercurey appellation. A Rully 1er Cru Grésigny white is also produced in the neighbouring Rully appellation.
