All wines from the Mercurey appellation in Burgundy
The Mercurey appellation, located in the Côte Chalonnaise, Burgundy, is famous for its red wines (Pinot Noir) and white wines (Chardonnay). Spanning 650 hectares, including 150 hectares of Premier Cru, it comprises 32 classified climats, such as Les Champs Martin, Clos l'Évêque, or Les Combins. The clay-limestone and marly soils give Mercurey red wines aromas of red fruits, a fine tannic structure, and excellent aging potential, while the white wines reveal floral and mineral notes. Representing 90% red wines, Mercurey AOC is a major reference of the Côte Chalonnaise by its area and production.
