Taken over in 1993 by Stéphane Moreau and his wife Virginie, this benchmark Burgundian family estate, which once supplied grapes to négociants, rose to prominence thanks to Stéphane Moreau (who passed away suddenly in August 2016), who established a style comparable to Chablis' two iconic estates: Dauvissat and Raveneau. Today, Virginie continues the work of Domaine Moreau Naudet, producing wines in keeping with the style they crafted in the past.

Located in Chablis, the Moreau Naudet estate extends over 22.5 hectares planted exclusively with the Chardonnay grape variety. The vines average around thirty years of age and are carefully tended without insecticide or anti-rot treatments. Harvesting is both manual and mechanical. The grapes of Domaine Moreau Naudet are harvested at perfect maturity. The ageing is long and takes place in vats, barrels and demi-muids with light filtrations, giving the Moreau Naudet wines a beautiful complexity with a lovely relief. Domaine Moreau Naudet produces wines under the Chablis, Chablis 1er Cru Forêt, Chablis 1er Cru Montmains, Chablis 1er Cru Vaillons and Petit Chablis appellations, as well as Chablis Grand Cru. The Chablis 1er Cru Forêt has dense and spicy flavours with good ageing potential; the Chablis 1er Cru Vaillons displays a beautiful energy and finally the Chablis 1er Cru Montmains offers high-quality and intense bitterness.
