A. Bergère Origine Brut Magnum
A family-owned house based in Épernay since 1949, Champagne A. Bergère carries on a winemaking heritage that blends tradition and precision across three generations of winegrowers.
- Terroir: Vineyards spread across the chalky slopes of the Côte des Blancs and the clay-limestone soils of the Vallée du Petit Morin, shaping wines with distinctive minerality.
- Winemaking: A balance of partial aging in oak barrels and blending with reserve wines, producing cuvées that are both fresh and complex.
Tasting notes for Champagne A. Bergère Origine Brut Magnum
Appearance – A straw-yellow color with golden highlights and a fine, persistent mousse, suggesting a silky texture at first glance.
On the nose – Enticing aromas of toasted cracker and toasted almond mingle with fruity notes of cooked pear and candied orange, underscored by a subtle saline touch.
On the palate – A round, juicy opening, carried by lively acidity and chalky minerality, leads to a clean, elegant finish with appealing tension.
Serve between 8 and 10°C in a Champagne flute to preserve its freshness and aromas.
Non-vintage
This cuvée, the result of a harmonious blend of several years, embodies the house’s consistent style, combining freshness and depth.
- Aging potential: Enjoy now or cellar for up to 5 years under optimal conditions (stable temperature, away from light).
