To the eye – A garnet red robe with tiled reflections, of a silky density and crystalline brilliance.
On the nose – First, aromas of ripe blackcurrant and fresh violet, followed by a touch of sweet liquorice and a mineral hint reminiscent of graphite, before opening up to notes of toasted bread and soft spices.
On the palate – A velvety texture, carried by a lively acidity and a chalky minerality, where the melted tannins support a long and saline finish, marked by bursts of dark fruit and a persistent elegance.
