The Château Durfort-Vivens 1982, a fine wine de Margaux, comes from gravelly and clay-sandy soils. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc, it reveals aromas of blackcurrant and tobacco, aged in barrels. Fresh and mineral, it pairs with red meats and cheeses.
Nestled in the heart of the Margaux appellation, this family estate has embodied the excellence of great Bordeaux wines since the 19th century.
- Terroir: Deep gravels, clays and sands of the Margaux hillsides – a soil that imparts a distinctive minerality and a natural elegance to the wines.
- Vinification: Respect for Bordeaux traditions, combined with a biodynamic approach to reveal the purity of the fruit and the complexity of the terroir.
