From the clay-limestone hillsides of Vosne-Romanée, this Premier Cru Les Chaumes 2002 from Domaine du Comte Liger-Belair is a Pinot Noir aged in barrels. Nose of cherry and spices, silky and mineral palate, fine tannins. Perfect with red meats or cheeses, to be enjoyed until 2028.
Heir to a viticultural heritage dating back to 1815, this family estate embodies the excellence of Burgundy wines, anchored in the heart of the Côte de Nuits.

In the glass: Deep garnet robe with tawny highlights, of a silky and luminous texture.
On the nose: Aromas of ripe black cherry and fresh violet, followed by notes of gentle spices and a mineral hint of flint.
On the palate: A velvety attack, melted yet present tannins, lively acidity and chalky minerality, leading to a long and saline finish underpinned by a taut elegance.
Serve at 14–16°C in a Burgundy glass to reveal its full purity.
