This Pinot Noir offers notes of black cherry and spices, refined in barrels. Its silky, mineral palate captivates. Perfect with game or red meat, it can be cellared until 2050.

Tasting notes for Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Romanée Conti 2001
To the eye – Deep garnet robe with tawny highlights, of a silky density and crystalline brilliance.
On the nose – Aromas of candied black cherry, faded rose, damp undergrowth, and black truffle, lifted by a saline touch and a hint of licorice.
On the palate – Velvety and taut texture, carried by a lively acidity and a chalky minerality, with a long, persistent finish marked by notes of cocoa and sweet spices.
Serve between 14 and 16°C in a Burgundy-style glass to enhance its complexity.
Vintage 2001
A balanced vintage, where cool nights preserved the acidity and finesse of the tannins, yielding a wine of great precision.
- Aging potential: To be enjoyed until 2050, provided it is stored in a cellar at a stable temperature (12–14°C) and away from light.
