The Romanée-Conti Grand Cru 2017, born in the Côte de Nuits, expresses Pinot Noir with elegance thanks to its clay-limestone soils. Aged in oak barrels, this wine offers notes of wild berries and spices, a silky palate and a vibrant minerality. Perfect with a Jambon Pata Negra from 2028.
Heir to a unique viticultural heritage in Burgundy, this estate embodies the excellence of the Grand Crus of Vosne-Romanée.
- Terroir: Clay-limestone and marly soils of the Côte de Nuits, shaping wines of rare minerality and depth.
- Vinification: Traditional methods and biodynamics, producing cuvées of timeless purity and elegance.
Tasting notes for the Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Romanée-Conti Grand Cru 2017
To the eye – A deep red robe with garnet highlights, of silky density and crystalline brilliance.
On the nose – Aromas of wild dark berries and fresh blackcurrant, evolving toward notes of dried rose petals, blood orange, liquorice, and resinous undergrowth, lifted by a saline and mineral touch.
On the palate – Silky and multidimensional texture, carried by a lively acidity and a chalky minerality, with remarkably fine tannins and an enchantingly long finish.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Riedel Vinum Bourgogne glass.
Vintage 2017

- Aging potential: 30 to 50 years, to be stored under optimal conditions (stable temperature, controlled humidity).
