The Richebourg 2001 from Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, Grand Cru of Vosne-Romanée, is born on argilo-calcareous soils. This Pinot Noir aged in oak barrels delivers notes of dark fruits and spices. Structured and elegant, it captivates with its freshness. Ageing potential until 2060, ideal with roasted meats.

Tasting notes for the wine Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Richebourg 2001
In the glass – a deep garnet-red robe with tawny highlights, of velvety density and crystalline brilliance.
On the nose – aromas of wild blackberry and black cherry mingle with notes of undergrowth, liquorice and clove, lifted by a saline touch and a hint of graphite.
On the palate – a silky and fleshy texture, carried by a lively acidity and a chalky minerality, with melted yet persistent tannins and a remarkably long finish.
Serve at 16-18°C in a Burgundy glass to reveal its full complexity.
Vintage 2001
A vintage marked by balanced ripeness and preserved freshness, endowing the Richebourg with a classic structure and a remarkable capacity for evolution.
- Ageing potential: 20 to 40 years under ideal cellar conditions (stable temperature, controlled humidity).
