Tasting notes for Château La Mission Haut-Brion 2022
- To the eye : A deep purple robe with garnet highlights, of a silky density and crystalline brilliance, heralding a generous and refined substance.
- On the nose : An enchanting bouquet where notes of wild blackberry and fresh blackcurrant mingle, elevated by touches of violet and liquorice, before opening onto a subtle chalky minerality and a hint of blonde tobacco.
- On the palate : A velvety attack, carried by tannins of a silky texture, a lively acidity and a mineral tension that guides the wine toward a long and saline finish, where aromas of black fruits and sweet spices unfold.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Bordeaux glass to release its full complexity.

A vintage marked by optimal grape ripeness, offering a rare concentration and a tannic structure of great precision, while retaining a remarkable freshness.
- Aging potential : To be cellared for 20 to 50 years in a cool cellar (12–14°C) and away from light, to fully reveal its evolution and complexity.
