To the eye: a garnet red robe with tawny highlights, of a silky density and a brilliance subtly veiled by time.
On the nose: aromas of candied blackcurrant, blond tobacco and cedar mingle with a touch of damp undergrowth, lifted by a saline hint and an evocation of graphite.
On the palate: a velvety texture, driven by a lively acidity and a chalky minerality, stretches into a long and harmonious finish, where notes of licorice and ripe dark fruits emerge.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Bordeaux glass to appreciate its full complexity.
