A family-run house rooted in the heart of the Côte des Blancs, Waris-Larmandier carries on a winemaking heritage centered on Chardonnay, grown in harmony with natural rhythms.
- Terroir: The chalky soils of Cramant, an emblematic Grand Cru, whose vineyard plots shape wines of vibrant minerality and rare elegance.
- Winemaking: An artisanal approach, with spontaneous fermentation in oak barrels and extended aging on the lees to reveal the fruit’s purity and the terroir’s complexity.
Tasting notes for Waris-Larmandier Cramant Les Terres des Buissons 2014
Appearance – Golden yellow with luminous highlights and a fine, persistent mousse that feels silky and airy.
On the nose – Aromas of yellow stone fruit and candied citrus (orange and grapefruit), lifted by notes of fresh butter, light tobacco and gentle spices, all underpinned by a saline, chalky touch.
On the palate – A juicy, precise opening, where mineral tension meets lively acidity and invigorating salinity, accompanied by hints of vanilla and cinnamon; the long, chalky finish leaves an elegant, refined impression.
