Champagne Jouvence 2013 by Françoise Bedel comes from the clay-limestone slopes of the Vallée de la Marne and blends biodynamically grown Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier. Aged six years on the lees, it offers a taut palate, white-fruit notes and chalky minerality. Brut (5.75 g/L), it can be enjoyed now or through 2028 and is perfect with oysters.
Nestled in the heart of the Vallée de la Marne, this family estate combines exceptional terroir with biodynamic viticulture, pursued with passion for more than two decades.
- Terroir : Vines aged 20 to 60 years, rooted in clay-silt and marl-limestone soils, shape champagnes of rare minerality and depth.
- Winemaking : A thoughtful approach combining fermentation in enamel-lined tanks with extended aging on the lees to create cuvées of remarkable elegance and precision.
Tasting notes for Françoise Bedel Jouvence 2013
- Appearance : A brilliant, crystal-clear golden color, enlivened by a stream of fine, persistent bubbles that hints at a silky texture.
- On the nose : An airy bouquet of crisp apple and Williams pear, followed by toasted brioche and white flowers, all underscored by a saline, chalky touch.
- On the palate : A lively, precise opening, driven by taut acidity and chalky minerality, gives way to a generous, creamy texture before a long, saline finish of great purity.
Serve at 8–10 °C in a champagne flute to preserve its freshness and effervescence.
