Located at 54 route des Grands Crus, in Morey-Saint-Denis, Domaine Perrot-Minot ranks among the most sought-after names in the Côte de Nuits. Directed since 1993 by Christophe Perrot-Minot, the fourth generation of a winemaking family, this estate of around twelve hectares expresses pinot noir across a mosaic of climat appellations, including village, premier cru, and grand cru designations. Deliberately low yields, preserved old vines, manual harvesting, and vinification of jeweler-like precision: each cuvée seeks not demonstration but purity, energy, and fidelity to the terroir.

Domaine Perrot Minot is anchored in the viticultural history of Burgundy and represents a reference in terms of quality and tradition. Founded by Henri Perrot-Minot, this family estate has preserved its heritage for four generations. The history dates back to the early 20th century, and each generation has contributed to forging the estate's prestigious reputation.

Terroirs, Vineyards, Viticulture and Vinification

Terroirs and Vineyards: The estate extends over exceptional terroirs, meticulously selected to best represent the diversity of Burgundian soils. The vines, planted in renowned appellations, benefit from varied terroirs, contributing to the complexity and authenticity of the wines.

Viticulture: Viticulture at Domaine Perrot Minot is characterized by an environmentally respectful approach and particular attention to detail. Sustainable cultural practices are favored to preserve the health of the vines and the richness of the terroir. Attentive management of the vineyard aims to obtain grapes at perfect maturity, reflecting the potential of each parcel.

Vinification: Vinification at the estate combines tradition and innovation. Harvesting is carried out manually to guarantee rigorous selection of the grapes. Once harvested, the grapes undergo meticulous vinification in adapted vats. Modern methods coexist with traditional techniques, and aging in judiciously chosen oak barrels contributes to the structure and complexity of the wines.

Domaine Perrot Minot offers a range of cuvées that faithfully express the terroir and the estate's artisanal know-how.

The wines of Domaine Perrot Minot are particularly well rated by Revue des Vins de France: with a score of 19/20, the Chambertin Perrot Minot 2013 shows refined notes of roasting, a very smooth and tender texture even for the cru. The Chambertin Clos de Bèze 2013 Perrot Minot is somewhat more open and richer than the Chambertin, with remarkable nobility of tannin, perfect aging, and great finesse. Domaine Perrot Minot also produces six Premiers Crus, including a beautiful representation of a Chambolle Musigny Premier Cru Combe d'Orveau 2014, a refined wine whose embodiment of delicacy is of rare subtlety, rated 17.5/20 by Bettane & Desseauve and RVF. The most notable vintages of Domaine Perrot Minot are 2015, 2012, 2010, 2009, 2005, 2002.
