History of the Estate

Dominique Lafon, owner of the very emblematic and excellent estate Comtes Lafon, has launched his solo venture!

He launched his négociant house under his own name in 2007.

Vineyards and Winemaking

Domaine Dominique Lafon now extends over 4.5 hectares of vineyards (Chardonnay for whites and Pinot Noir for reds) located on the Côte de Beaune in the appellations Bourgogne, Volnay, Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet, Pernand Vergelesses, and Beaune.

In both colors, the selection of berries is meticulous and impeccable! He puts his signature on his new wines with a particular style, drawing the best from the terroirs as the outstanding winemaker he embodies. He proves it to us in every cuvée!

The cuvées

The whites are chiseled, precise, and very pleasant with an incredible length on the palate. The reds are deep, airy, and elegant!

He thus produces two cuvées in generic Burgundy (red and white) as well as several village wines (Volnay, Pernand Vergelesses, Meursault) and several premier crus.
