In total, the Domaine Tremblay Cecile offers no fewer than 11 appellations, but in very limited quantities. It seems that the Domaine Cecile Tremblay may soon be able to recover a few additional hectares of vines whose leases are coming to an end.

In fact, Cécile Tremblay is the great-niece of Henri Jayer, and at the age of 26, she established herself independently in 2003, starting from a heritage of vines inherited from her grandparents. The entire Domaine Cécile Tremblay is cultivated organically and a large portion of the soils are worked with a plough horse. An outstanding winemaker and taster of the highest calibre, Cécile Tremblay quickly made her mark after several perfectly successful vintages, and she now stands among the leading estates of the Côte de Nuits. With extreme care, the grapes from the vineyard are harvested in small 5 kg crates, sorted, and vinified as whole clusters. The style of the wines of Domaine Cécile Tremblay is based on finesse, an airy and sensual quality with velvety textures. The precision of the finishes and the delicacy of the aromas are exceptional. Of course, obtaining bottles is extremely difficult given the rarity of the cuvées and the fact that Cécile Tremblay rigorously selects her distribution channels — but from the "simple" Vosne-Romanée village all the way up to Chapelle-Chambertin, the wines of Domaine Cécile Tremblay have become essential references. The Morey-Saint-Denis from Cécile Tremblay is pure and fragrant, endowed with great finesse. The Chambolle-Musigny Cécile Tremblay is fleshier. The Vosne-Romanée Cécile Tremblay has superior density. The Vosne-Romanée 1er cru Les Rouges du Dessus from Cécile Tremblay is of great transparency of flavours, with great purity, but built for ageing. The Vosne-Romanée 1er cru Les Beaumonts is particularly floral and refined, of great allure. The Grand Cru Echezeaux Cécile Tremblay proves to be particularly distinguished, earthy, and pure, with volume and a particularly full and harmonious palate of great length. Finally, the Chapelle-Chambertin is magnificent, with notes of rose and blood orange, very pure and fresh, with fine, utterly delicate tannins.
