Bergerie de L'Arcade 2022 from Domaine La Bergerie de l'Arcade expresses the soils of Pouzols in the Languedoc. A blend of Syrah, Grenache and Mourvèdre, aged in barrels and tanks, it offers blackberry and garrigue notes. Fine tannins and minerality on the palate make it ideal with red meats from 2025 onward.
A family estate rooted in Pouzols, in the Hérault, where two brothers patiently cultivate a tiny vineyard plot.
- Terroir: Situated within the Languedoc appellation, amid vineyards shaped by the Mediterranean climate and maritime influences.
- Winemaking: A balance of aging in oak barrels and tanks preserves the grape varieties’ freshness while adding structure.

– Appearance: Deep red with violet highlights, dense and silky in texture.
– On the nose: Wild blackberry and black cherry aromas intertwine with notes of garrigue, a hint of licorice and a mineral touch.
– On the palate: A lively, precise opening, supported by fine tannins and elegant tension, with chalky minerality extending into a long, saline finish.
Serve at 16°C in a Bordeaux-style red wine glass to reveal its full complexity.
