From Domaine Bruno Clavelier, this Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Les Corbeaux 2021 comes from organic vines on limestone soils. This Pinot Noir with notes of cherry and flowers, aged in barrels, offers a fresh and mineral palate. Perfect with duck breast or a rack of lamb.
A family estate rooted in Vosne-Romanée, where the Burgundian heritage has been passed down since the 18th century.
- Terroir: limestone soils and old vines in the Côte de Nuits, farmed organically to reveal the purity of the appellations.
- Vinification: a traditional and low-interventionist approach, where indigenous yeasts and aging in French oak barrels preserve the expression of the Pinot Noir.
Tasting notes for Domaine Bruno Clavelier Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Les Corbeaux 2021
To the eye – a ruby robe of vibrant intensity, where light dances on silky and deep reflections.
On the nose – a fresh and precise bouquet, where wild red berries, crushed raspberry and Morello cherry intertwine, before blooming into floral notes of rose and violet, lifted by a mineral and spicy touch.
On the palate – an elegant and taut texture, carried by chalky tannins and a lively acidity, where black and red fruits intertwine with a saline minerality, for a long and savory finish.
Serve between 15 and 16°C, in a Burgundy glass to release its full complexity.
