The Vosne-Romanée La Combe Brûlée 2007 from Domaine Bruno Clavelier is a Pinot Noir from old vines, born on a chalky calcareous terroir. Aged 18 months in barrels, it reveals aromas of berries, flowers and warm rock. Its silky, mineral palate, with a beautiful length, pairs until 2027 with duck breast or aged cheeses.
A family estate rooted in the heart of Vosne-Romanée, where respect for the terroir and winemaking traditions shapes wines of rare precision.
- Terroir : Chalky calcareous and siliceous soils of the Côte de Nuits, the cradle of exceptional Pinot Noir, where each plot expresses a unique minerality.
- Winemaking : Biodynamic methods and aging in oak barrels, for wines that are vibrant, taut and of a natural elegance.
Tasting notes for Domaine Bruno Clavelier Vosne-Romanée La Combe Brûlée 2007
- Appearance : Garnet red robe with tiled highlights, a silky texture and a promising density.
- On the nose : Aromas of fresh wild berries, delicate violet, then damp undergrowth and warm stone, lifted by a discreet yet persistent saline note.
- On the palate : A lively and precise attack, where mineral tension dialogues with a fleshy and chalky substance, leading to a long, saline finish carried by a thoroughly Burgundian elegance.
Serve at 14–16°C in a Burgundy glass to fully release its complexity.
