Tasting notes for the wine Château Clinet Clinet 2006
To the eye: Deep ruby-red robe with violet reflections, of a silky and luminous density.
On the nose: Aromas of candied black cherry, bitter orange peel, blond tobacco and a saline touch reminiscent of the terroir's gravels.
On the palate: Velvety texture, lively acidity and chalky minerality, with a long and taut finish where bitter cocoa and subtle vegetal notes intertwine.
Serve at 16–18°C in a Bordeaux glass to release its full complexity.
