The Eglise-Clinet 1971, a great fine wine from Pomerol, is born of clay-gravel soils. A blend of Merlot (85%) and Cabernet Franc (15%), it reveals aromas of black fruits and spices after 15 months in barrels. On the palate, silky and mineral, it pairs beautifully with roasted meats and aged cheeses.
A family estate rooted at the heart of Pomerol, where viticultural heritage meets the demands of an exceptional terroir.
- Terroir: Clay-gravel soils on a gentle slope, typical of the Pomerol appellation, endowing the wines with a deep structure and a distinctive minerality.
- Vinification: Manual harvest, aging in barrels (30 to 50% new) for 15 months, producing cuvées that are both powerful and of a refined elegance.
